The project renovated the Crest Theater, for use by the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA, later renamed the UCLA Nimoy Theater. The theater, built in 1940, is located about half a mile from the main UCLA campus, at 1262 Westwood Boulevard. The building is a City of Los Angeles-designated Historic-Cultural Monument, largely due to a 1988 Art Deco Revival-themed renovation. |
