This project includes seismic improvements to bring the facility to a Seismic Rating of at least IV, to ensure compliance with the UC Seismic Safety Policy. Additionally, program improvements will expand, relocate, and optimize outpatient behavioral health programs and clinical research and educational programs associated with the adjacent neuropsychiatric hospital and dedicated psychiatric emergency services.
